Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Wylsyde Signal (the "Service"), operated as an early-stage ("Beta") product. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What Wylsyde Signal Does

Wylsyde Signal helps local service businesses automatically follow up with their own customers to ask for reviews, via email. You provide us with your customers' contact information; we send review-request and follow-up emails on your behalf, subject to settings you control.

2. Beta Status

The Service is actively being developed and is offered on an "as is" basis (see Section 10). Features, pricing, and functionality may change. We'll do our best to give notice of material changes, but this is a young product and things may move quickly.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. You must be legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service.

4. Free Trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full access and no credit card required. The trial starts when you confirm your email address. If you haven't added a payment method by the end of the trial, your account automatically switches to read-only: you keep access to everything you've already set up (your data, dashboard, and history), but the Service stops sending new review requests or accepting new customer data until you subscribe. You are never automatically charged at the end of a trial.

5. Subscription, Billing & Cancellation

Wylsyde Signal currently costs $19/month, billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. It takes effect from your first billing period that starts at least 30 days after that notice. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before then and you won't be charged it.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period - you keep full access until then, and you will not be charged again afterward. There is no long-term contract or cancellation fee.

6. Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@wylsydesignal.com and we'll look into it.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Email anyone you don't have an existing, legitimate customer relationship with - this is a tool for following up with your own customers after a job, not for sending unsolicited bulk email;
• Send unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content;
• Attempt to interfere with, probe, or bypass the Service's security or rate limits; or
• Use the Service in a way that harms our ability to deliver email on behalf of other customers (for example, sending to addresses you know to be invalid, or ignoring bounce/complaint signals).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, to protect the Service and other customers.

8. Your Customer Data

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the customer information you upload, and for having the right to contact those individuals for this purpose. See our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.

9. Intellectual Property

We own the Service, including its software, design, and branding. You retain ownership of your own account data and the customer information you upload. You grant us a limited license to use that data solely to provide the Service to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wylsyde Signal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Wylsyde Signal harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third party's rights (including in connection with the customer data you upload).

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to let you know (such as posting a notice in the app). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict of law principles.
